Dust. Exploring subtle installation experiences. Always loved seeing dust motes floating in sun beams so I decided to try and reproduce that experience in TouchDesigner using Josef Pelz's T3D (Texture 3D operators) as well as PCR (Point Cloud Rendering) for GLSL bokeh effects.

I wrote a little primer on rigid body dynamics in Houdini after seeing a lot of similar questions online. Bullet is a pretty deep rabbit hole to fall into and there's a lot of legacy stuff that's very confusing for new artists... hopefully this helps you get started!

Reminder to creatives (or anyone, really): If someone reaches out because they want to interview you, and they are asking you to download a specific app to conduct the interview, it is probably a scam. I have had 3 attempts since January 2025. Do your research and check credentials.

Some BTS from the moss lantern series. The toro forms adhered to the basic structure for this style of lantern, but then I exaggerated some of the features to make them feel a bit more otherworldly.

Moss R&D. This started as an excuse to learn more about running Houdini from the command line. I am able to provide a string as an input parameter, and the Houdini project will create the 3D letters and drop them onto the ground and let them settle, then the moss sim kicks in and weatherizes them.
