Just caught this on Facebook. Ed Zolna, the founder of the furry fanzine publisher Mailbox Books and later Second Ed, had been suffering from terminal cancer. Second Ed is currently shutting down, and this message was supposedly less than a week ago. We're losing too many good people to cancer.

Watching the first generation of furs slowly begin to pass away is rough, but it's been a good constant reminder that life is too short not to be fuzzy, to become who you are, and to do what brings you joy and love.
