I think we underestimate the problems "reading to compare" causes for comic book enjoyment. The lingering need to compare one creative work to another reduces the in moment enjoyment as well as reduces creative endeavours to metrics.

And also why local-first approaches are to be considered and preferred. Not everyone has access to cheap and high-speed internet solutions so having highly available information regardless of connection is a smart move
