Conferring with Justice Antonio Benjamin of the High Court of Brazil at #CMSCOP15, we discussed the role of the judiciary in translating intergovernmental commitments into national action-- including in halting and reversing biodiversity loss through the #KMGBF implementation.

In a meeting with H.E. @marinasilvaoficial.bsky.social and the delegation of Brazil, the Host Country of #CMSCOP15, we discussed the importance of weaving finance & fiscal considerations, including reducing harmful subsidies, into whole-of-government policies that deliver for people and #ForNature.

At #CMSCOP15, a high-level panel addressed the role of wetlands in sustaining migratory routes. The #KMGBF is catalyzing coordination with @ramsar.org, @cms.int and other Biodiversity-related conventions for coherent implementation and progress towards our common goals.

This week @unbiodiversity.bsky.social is at #CMSCOP15 advocating for multilateral cooperation and #MEA coordination that ensure ecological connectivity in the conservation of migratory species across landscapes and seascapes, including in the implementation of #Target3 #30x30Plus of the #KMGBF.
