Last year, Moises lost his leg due to medical complications. Unable to continue working in construction, he became homeless and faced an uncertain future while residing in a medical respite shelter. Thanks to your donations Moises now has a new prosthetic leg and a chance to get back on his feet.

After a bone infection led to the amputation of his leg below the knee, Christopher was wheelchair-bound without access to a prosthetic. Christopher wore his Superman pants the day he received his new leg because, as he said, “he knew today was going to be amazing.”

Thanks to the incredible support and donations from this community, Steps of Faith broke our record and helped more than 500 amputees regain mobility last year! That number is a milestone for us because there are a little over 500 new amputees in the U.S. EVERY SINGLE DAY!
