The hospitals in our region are under a code orange, massive influx of critical patients due to the tragedy at the Lapu Lapu event. They will need blood to help the victims and it is a tangible way you can help your fellow vancouverites it took two seconds to book - do it!

I've heard back from the City of Vancouver. They confirmed that they have approximately 265 staff "currently in the field" working the byelection. That's a 79% dropoff from the 2017 byelection. Odd they didn't mention that in their original explanation to media as to why lines were so long.
