Claude recommended me to write an entire custom image cache proxy to solve some blurry profile pics in coves. The problem was actually the app rendering them at 48px 😭😭 Bright side my images are flying now with the cache service.

Another atproto idea I'd love to see pushed. On rednote they have a Rednote ID with a QR code. If each Appview could implement a unified QR card system we could have a really neat visual indicator for the portable identity system across apps. Rednote example below

Great part about #atproto no screenshots crossposts, you can just natively rebuild an embed card. I built crossposting here as an example, it's pulling live metadata and in the future can properly interop with likes/bookmarks for bsky users who import their account.

Aggregators is similar to feed generators here on bluesky. They will allow automated posts to communities, anyone can own, build, or port them

I've been thinking for awhile atproto is the perfect usecase for some of these DE tools. Appviews could theoretically host a lakehouse on HTTPS and anyone could spin up their own DuckDB or Trino compute and read it. It prevents so much effort by third parties for aggregation, ML, data discrepancies
