Yesterday I noticed my fourth gen iPod touch battery was starting to get spicy so I wanted to remove it before it damaged it further. Battery is removed and fine but iPod now sits partially disassembled due to the battery bending the frame and the adhesive failing.. poor little guy :(

Does anyone know if there's a tool I can run locally that would allow me to input subtitles from multiple terabytes of videos and then search them to find the timestamps where the searched phrase was said? I made a mockup of what I would prefer in the image. Google is not working well for me atm

why is it so hard to get a phone that has semi-stable software in 2024? iOS has gone to shit since 16 imo. I tried android on a Pixel 7 for a little while but my only complaint were that notifications weren't chronological which bothered the shit out of me.

my end goal CRT is one of these little 9 inch trinitrons because i love it it looks so dinky and i want to use it as a funny stat display or something because it would look so coooool
