I think I'm just gonna take another week and dive back into gamedev and not pay attention to the world again. This isn't good for my head.

Making Tessa's RPG Nightmare was such a boost to my mental health. I literally tuned the world and everything happening out for a straight week and dove into my creativity and I came out the other side feeling much better. Hasn't even been out twelve hours, but I'll treasure this release for that.

I'll be releasing a post-launch update for Tessa's RPG Nightmare that'll fix the typos pointed out. Only two small minor bugs have been reported and those'll be addressed too. Game's still 100% fine to play now, however. Thank you to everyone that's given it a spin and shared their thoughts.

Finishing an RPG project hits a lot different than most of my other games, already. Her Lullaby and Afterward were both huge undertakings, but this feels entirely different. I can't believe I did that in seven days.

New game is currently only playable in browser. Folks seemed to be having issues with RPG Maker 2003's installer, so I'm looking around for solutions. If I can find one, I'll put the installer back up. For now, playing in browser is fine.

Found a way to condense a bit of the last 1/3 of my game that I think feels a bit more fun. It's a bit of scoping down and we should always embrace scoping down. Very excited to know I have a game that's gonna be ready sometime in the next week and that I've had a blast making it.

By the by I extended the jam deadline by a day so everyone has the full weekend after this one to finish. You've also still got a couple more days to pick up RM2k3 for only two bucks on steam!

I should rebrand my game releases from PollySoft to Pollyslop.

Taking a small break from Tri to play Artificial Dream in Arcadia was a smart move. I love Tri but it requires SO much more of my brain than Arcadia. It'll be nice to have a couple DRPGs to bounce between for a bit while I pick away at some smaller things I've been wanting to get to.
