Today House Republicans closed the Floor until Friday Oct. 3rd. By doing this they eliminated even the possibility of negotiating on a budget and avoiding a shutdown. They own this shutdown! Democrats are fighting for the lives of millions of citizens who will lose insurance under the GOP budget.

Election Day is coming up on November 4, 2025! City Council and School Board are on the ballot, positions that directly affect our everyday lives. There will also be several important ballot measures. We'll be sharing more details about these issues throughout the election season - stay tuned!

On September 10th, Senator Chuck Schumer initiated a Senate vote on releasing the Epstein Files. All Senate Democrats voted in favor of releasing the files, while Senate Republicans voted against their release and against making the files publicly available.

Boulder County Democrats are thinking of everyone who has been harmed, their families, first responders, and our communities at large in the wake of recent violence.

24 years ago, America united after nearly 3,000 lives being taken in an act of terror. New York showed it's strength and tenacity, and the rest of the nation followed suit. Today we remember the fallen, honor heroes who ran toward danger, and stand united, refusing to give in to fear or division.
