Watching the guys on First Things First debate whether or not the World Cup was a success for the #USMNT. I don't think it's possible to legitimately answer that question the day after we lost. All we can do today is greive, speculate, and emote. Try again in 4 weeks or 4 months.

I assume that the Randle, LeMelo, Naz Reid trade was not made official yet, or I would have heard about it? I assume that is also why Isaiah Evans is not yet on the Timberwolves summer league roster?

I'm going to take this moment to say that in my opinion, the #USMNT made positive strides this year and the World Cup in general has been good for US soccer this year (despite FIFA and ugly politics surrounding it). I enjoyed watching USMNT and look forward to the next World Cup.

I kinda think that the punishment for a red card is a bit too tough. 1) Removing player for rest of the game 2) Team must play short one player 3) Suspension for another game 1 & 2 are fine. I think #3 should be decided after the game based upon severity of the foul and circumstances of 1 & 2.

I'm not rooting for the corrupt regime that has a habit of sticking it's nose in places it does not belong and knows nothing about. I am rooting for #USMNT tonight. I'm not going to let Trump ruin my enjoyment of the world cup or our talented Men's national team.

One note from Timberwolves summer league practice. SL coach Nathan Bubes said they're working on having Joan Beringer play some at the four alongside Rocco Zikarsky. You can put 2 + 2 together to see why they may want Beringer doing so.

Seems like Olivia is part of most post game press conferences, except when the Lynx lose. This makes sense to me, because she clearly takes the loses hard and doesn't have the specific experience of handling the press, after a loss, which must very different than after a win.

Speculating on LeBron coming to Minnesota Timberwolves is so much more fun that the usual trade speculation, because we don't have to stress about who we're going to give up. It's a free agency deal and LeBron says he isn't in for the money.

That Minnesota vs New York #WNBA game is tonight. The Liberty are one of the teams chasing the Lynx in the standings and they have not played each other yet. Also, there is a CHANCE that one Minnesota injured players might play for first time this year (Dorka Juhász). I'm excited about this one.

For the first time this season, Dorka Juhász is not listed as OUT and is Questionable ahead of Friday's game at New York. Napheesa Collier remains listed as OUT for Friday's game. I would imagine we see Phee follow suit in inching back to playing very soon.

One problem in discussions about penalties such as the #USMNT red card is that people are arguing different things. 1) Does the call meet the threshold of how the rule is actually written. 2) What should the rule actually be (ideally). 3) How the rule was enforced again other teams. 1/2
