Last day in Brittany today but we made the most of it. Drove to a lagoon in Le Letty and paddle boarded. Took the kraken to the ocean side and surfed before back to camp for zip wire and pool. For our first eurocamp experience, it’s been amazing. Au revoir, France!🇫🇷 💙

Took kiddos to the Dice Box yesterday and played ‘Escape the Dark Castle’ and it was a lot of fun! We were defeated by the final boss though! 😭

Kids have told me they want a NZ 80s summer. So far we’ve gone surfing at Three cliffs Bay, paddle boarding on the Avon. Wild swimming in the River Teme. Tomrrow is biking in the Forest of Dean. Only cost so far has been parking, packed lunches and petrol 🙌🏾

my competitive archery has been bad but looking forward to a fun club shoot tonight called ‘Captain of the Horn’. Its unsighted bows at various weird locations around the range. I won it last year so let’s see if I can retain it with this beautiful wooden bow! 🏹

last night was warm but I took the kids out for a bike ride. No watch, no phone, no planned route. We rode through sprinklers on a deserted building site, along a narrow path through a wheat field during the golden hour. It felt like a studio Ghibli film. Good memories made 🧡
