Starting work on a level select screen and an editor for it. going to be like super mario world (or Spooky Express) having paths to each level. Lines are drawing using a bezier curve, while calculating an approximate length to figure out the proper t values. #picotron #gamedev #indiedev

Working on a remake of Neko Puzzle in its most natural form: a #picotron desktop app. It also has a multiplayer mode (drop in anytime to a single shared game with endless 1-minute rounds) that will eventually be cross-playable with a #pico8 version.

updated! pico-8 wizard @werxzy.itch.io provided some really nice optimizations, now it runs flawlessly even with the funny 3d mode enabled :) I also made some improvements to the physics system. now carried objects behave much nicer, no more double pushes!

If you use GitHub (especially if you pay for it!!) consider doing this *immediately* Settings -> Privacy -> Disallow GitHub to train their models on your code. GitHub opted *everyone* into training. No matter if you pay for the service (like I do). WTH github.com/settings/cop...

WIP #picotron login flow: add accounts via web (requires bbs login) and then switch between them locally. User icons are picotron-specific and can be fetched from bbs://user/user_id.

Going over some of the finer points of #picotron accounts. podnet:// folders can only be listed by the owner, and so filenav reacts to that state change after switching accounts. podnet and scoresub() are arriving Monday-ish, along with PUT and POST fetch() requests. Get your 16x16 user icons ready!

Put together a quick prototype of a #pico8 game that's been sitting in my head for a little while, block dropping game sort of mixing Othello/Reversi and Tetris attack. Fun even in this unpolished state.
