A lot of the artwork in "From Rust to Ash" went into making sprites for the items, really pushed what I felt comfortable with, but the #pico8 palette and the limitations of 16 colors on the screen made it easier to push the art I could do #gamedev #indiedev

An art pass and experimenting with values. The dagger goes faster than the hatchet, and while it starts its damage very low, buffing with it with the axe outpaces the hatchet... Hmmm Im gonna need status effects... #pico8 #gamedev #indiedev
