Surgery went well. But for the next 5 days I have to keep her from acting…well…like a cat. No jumping, running, or climbing. And when this is all done and said, she’s going to be more angry about her surgical suit, than the actual surgery.

Sitting here waiting to hear if my 15 1/2 year old cat is doing well after surgery is agonizing.

I know I’m supposed to building a following by writing engaging content. But man my life is boring! So unless you want to see lots of pictures of cat, ferrets, dogs, and an occasional book or editing post, I’m probably going to fail on gaining a ton of followers.

I’m struggling with my order of operations to get this book ready to query. The OCD part of me really wants to keep going back to make the first half shiny and pretty and perfect. The rational part of me knows I need to move forward and make the rest something less than a garbage heap of words.

Writers advice. Don’t comment on a negative review. Don’t post about a negative review. Don’t pay attention to a negative review. Don’t feed the negative review. Try to forget it exists and move on. They happen. Everyone gets them. Complaining or calling out the reviewer is bad business.
