My parents are being really good to me lately. My mom just asked how much the laptop I need for college is. I don't know what kind to get yet, but it would be a birthday gift when I turn 34 in August. 🙏 I need to ask the college what kind of laptop is best for animation/illustration majors now!

It's wild realizing people you wanted a life with never loved you at all. All they cared about was what they hoped I could contribute to the situation and that's such bullshit. I am much more than a means to an end. I'm more than the ways they exploited me.

Every day I have to grieve that all the people who trafficked me (people I once loved) could care less about my healing and happiness. In fact, they banked on my destruction. They wanted me to die or at least stay quiet about my trauma. It's a miracle I am here at all.

I scrubbed away a lot of stagnant energy today. I did dishes, picked up a bunch of old papers off the floor, swept, and mopped. The cologne I used for the floor is associated with protection, healing, and wish fulfillment. 🙏 I plan to spend some time in prayer later after I catch my breath. ❤️

Had another great therapy session. I'm hyped to focus on art, writing, music, peace, nature, spirituality, personal health, college, etc. 🙏 Those are a few of my priorities. 😊 I love how free I feel as of late.

Enough trauma talk for tonight. I hate thinking about mine too much. I'd rather focus on enjoying my creativity and peace. New joy. I don't know if reporting more of my trauma would help me heal/continue to "let go" or not. Healing and learning matters to me most. 🙏

As a survivor of trafficking, it's hard to decide how to move forward sometimes. Nobody who trafficked me faced any consequences and I don't feel like re hashing my trauma again and again. I kinda regret not reporting *all* my aggressors but I'd rather just enjoy the life I am building.

Again, I'm grateful for where I am at in life now. Instead of being passed around like a piece of meat, I'm stepping back into the habit of learning and creating. It's beautiful. I feel beautiful again. Things aren't perfect, but I have way more to look forward to than I thought. 🙏

I'm early to art therapy! 😁 I want to brainstorm more symbols associated with finding peace, my inner light, etc. as well as stepping back into my own power. If I don't know what else to draw, I'll probably start with unicorns and various flowers. I'm all hyped to celebrate my progress. 💖

Healing looks good on me. 🥺 I love the safety Datura helps me feel in my disabled, traumatized body and the boost in focus it gives me, too. I love the way it helps me process a lot of heavy, heavy energy. I plan to make a lot of work processing the abuse I survived.

Today is about art therapy. ❤️ I want to get started on some work before I drive to see my therapist. I want to celebrate where I am at in life. I'm grateful for the peace I'm finding (even when not everything is entirely certain) and the way I am healing from trauma!
