One thing people don’t realize about teachers is we’re constantly pressured to work extra hours for no pay. Multiple after work hours meetings per week. Planning periods taken for more meetings so we have to plan on the weekend. We’re contracted 8 hours on weekdays. Everything else is wage theft.
