Today: during #hedgewatch in #Switzerland we found this deformed #rock. It underwent #ductil #deformation so that this #fold made of #quartz formed. During deformation material can move from the limbs to the hinge so that the hinge becomes thicker. #PawForScale #geologywithcats #geology #nature
