Life is thriving on our Whitelee Reserve. Thanks to our conservation efforts, pools forming on the wet peat are now abundant with frogspawn, and this - our smallest native newt, the palmate newt, named after the unique black webbing which develops on the male's back feet during breeding season. 🦎
