Did the natural carbon sinks collapse last year? No. The land sink was quite a bit lower due to an El Niño, but is expected to recover. Both ocean & land sink have slowed down in the last decade, but so have total emissions. It is concerning, but may be as expected. globalcarbonbudget.org 1/
