When I was packing up my books for the move, I stood and held my collection of Tom Stoppard plays in my hands and realized just how gutted I was going to be when we lost him.

His play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead changed my idea of what drama could do and The Real Thing changed my idea of what life could be. He was one of my favorite playwrights, who also managed to write 2 of my fave films: Shakespeare in Love and Brazil. RIP Mr Stoppard, and thank you.
