Fish gift drawing for linocut prints. Fift? Gish?

I'm sorry, I know I'm late to #Christmas, big box store's been selling it since May. I can't argue with them; they've got at least 6x more money than me. So, almost 7 months into Christmas I finally made this sketch for a #Krampus linocut print to express my holiday based shame, titled “NOT AGAIN!”

I've been making linocut prints lately! Here's one about my favorite place. I really wanted to capture that sense of adventure and peace you can find if you let yourself slow down and be grounded in the moment.

dude, it's really tough out there being a goofy dude. People don't listen to you and can't bring themselves to trust you with anything, and when you do succeed people seem shocked in a manner that is so condescending that it won't let them build any form of trust.

Note; I'm a big-time-yapper & if you ever see a post that isn't nearly max characters know that I've been replaced and the robots have won the war.

I feel like an absolute fool. I had the pleasure of existing in college when Mac Miller was hitting a more mature stride, dancing (sweating) to fresh LCD Soundsystem, Dan Deacon, Animal Collective, and so on. Not that it was superior to other music eras, it was just a really special time sonically.

I can't afford healthcare or insurance which has caused me to adopt the "fake it till you make it" mentality for being healthy. I was recently told that is a dangerous/toxic way to live life but I'll let you know when it stops working cause I feel healthy enough to fight a small horse anytime.

The milkweed I’ve grown in my garden this year is home to MANY monarchs. I was inspired to make this linocut idea because the caterpillars diet on milkweed infuses the skeletons of the adult form with concentrated amounts of poison from the plant & that must be SO FRUSTRATING for hungry birds.

Sometimes it's difficult, as someone with a favorite pokemon and opinions about it, sharing your life and raising a family with someone that can't appreciate Grimsnarl, or any made up animals for that matter. I should keep talking at her about the merits of Pokemon designs. That'll learn her.
