And in a way, that's kinda consent, right? If you post things publicly, there's always a chance it can get out of hand. People need to realize that social media has this pile-on effect as a feature, not a bug. It's built into the core design of these platforms.

A big issue with sharing your opinion about projects on social media is that if you're offering criticism, you can become the locus of all attention. Doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, inflammatory or subtle. You are now the opposing point and will propagate discourse.
