New year, new paper alert! My "Negated Implications in Connexive Relevant Logics" investigates logics which expand (fragments of) relevant logics by connexive principles, such as Aristotle's thesis (no formula is implied by, or implies, its own negation). Interesting results ensue!

Prepping a logic talk for tomorrow in Vienna. Let's see whether the audience has patience for the roughly 25 minutes of throat-clearing and definitions necessary to get to my proposal... (alternately, let's see if I can find a better way to present this material...)

Oftentimes when writing papers in non-classical logic, I find myself having to refer to classical connectives. In that case, I use ~ for Boolean negation, and ⊃ for material implication. It should be understood that I use these symbols pejoratively.

Logic is neat -- it turns out that a connexive relevant logic I've been playing with has the additive group of the integers mod 6 as a model, and furthermore that this model is kind of important for showing some logical properties. Who'da thunk?
