As unlikely as it'll be that I'll get recs considering most of the people that follow me are over the pond, I'm looking for recs for a solid laptop for primarily office based admin tasks around the £400-£500 mark if anyone knows of recs or what to look for.

Got the postgame loss feeling after finishing silksong which is a sign I enjoyed it since I'm already missing it but my wrists/fingers are currently thanking me for finally being done after the trauma I put them through. Had to change to the ps5 controller partway since the 360 buttons hurt too much

67 hours in silksong and about to beat the last boss. But then there's additional so I can add an extra 30 hours because I am not good.

Watched Conclave tonight. Don't watch many movies so my comparisons are limited but thoroughly enjoyed it. I am quite frankly astounded how the last 20 minutes of the movie have not been ruined in this day and age.

With regards to this stupid "prove your id bullshit" this was tried once before and was canned because everyone lost their mind about the government having to create a register of people to prove their identity and so forth and serious concerns about data collection.

Love this city. Near either of the main train stations based in the city centre that connects to everywhere? No phone signal. Near the large stadium that has half of all traffic links go past? No signal. Are you on the main thoroughfare that runs through the city visited by all tourists. NO SIGNAL.

For some reason I had some mad idea to start Alien Isolation last night. At midnight. In a pitch black room. Barely lasted the 5 minutes introduction before I started getting freaked out.

It's amazing how people are able to make trailers these days that make you feel nothing and do not engender you to want to play the game at all.
