Was just sporking around today. Low poly, high poly and unwrapped 2 out of three. I don't think I've done a utensil since @oddenough.art modelling challenges.

A non art post. I've really been trying hard to be a good dad to my twins. And some days I feel like a bad dad. Losing my patience, not reacting the way I should. This whole dad thing is tricky.

Most of my artwork I am unhappy with until the last 90% when it all comes together. Tonight's little drawing never got there. Whether it was a bad idea or just purely not executed properly. I always try to push through to find the good in it. I just couldn't find it tonight.

Poster 2 is mostly finished. Definitely rough and some areas that need alot more work. But I have to move on. #art

Working on some star wars posters for the project. Here is the first of five. Just quick paintings, real rough but I'm happy with the result.

Getting to the point in this project where I'm just about my skill limit. And need help/feedback to push it further. But before I do that I've got some minor model/texture changes I want to make still, and actually paint some posters (those are just placeholder ones I painted in the past)

Working away on the textures. It's progressing!

Another productive night, this project is officially unwrapped, baked and fixed all the errors in the bake. Through together a visual reference guide for the textures so I can easily reference it. Although the onslaught of ai, finding good reference images has become challenging.

I'm closing in on finishing up my project. The goal is to have it done before the end of the year. Can't wait to show it off.

According to Half-Life writer Marc Laidlaw and Arkane co-founder Raphael Colantonio, the immensely talented Bulgarian art director Viktor Antonov died recently. 😭 He was only 52. He worked with Valve and Arkane on HL 2 and Dishonored, but also on the animated movies Renaissance & The Prodigies.
