This is pretty close to what we're asking for in terms of device-level parental controls and leaving the internet alone. It doesn't require ID or other sensitive info uploads, it's a parent inputting their child's birthdate in the phone upon setup

Looks like (A Canadian Airline) just lost my information in a data breach. The breach happened in June and they waited this long to tell customers. When we say ID laws are bad because no company can keep your information safe: this is why. Tell your reps and senators to push back!
