It feels like every other week a Hoyo VA is getting harassed for some dumbass bullshit. I know it's in their financial interest to interact with the community, but I genuinely don't know how anyone can mentally justify interacting with them when it feels like getting harassed is an inevitability.

People have chosen to exaggerate the worst of her behavior because it gives them license to harass her - for a year now - and get no blowback, no risk of others judging them for it. It’s hatred, and it’s been allowed to flourish by people who clearly do not care about who is actually in the wrong.

Kayli never doxxed anyone. Kayli never threatened anyone. Kayli was not leading a harassment campaign. Kayli was understandably upset at someone for taking an actor’s job and reacted poorly. She apologized. That she is villainized for it and still tries to speak up for others shows character.

I choose to stand up for others and support them in the ways I needed, regardless of whether or not anyone does the same for me. I won't stop no matter how much I'm abused. I hope it gives at least one person the strength to stand up for something they believe in. I'd rather be stupid than content.
