even if sony doesn't walk back their decisions, what do they do from a PR perspective? do you announce more consumer-friendly stuff like better refund policy or cheaper MSRP? i doubt it. do they just hope it goes away??

Anyway, the larger conversation to be had here is around digital rights and what a license should enable. This needs to be a larger consumer rights issue going forward to push for new rules that allow for clear rules around refunds and end of life access etc.

announcing the move to all digital + shutting down a digital storefront on the same day is insane because it just shows that when the time comes hundreds, thousands of games will no longer be available to purchase on your digital storefront when that eventually shuts down too. Great.
