There's so many sad moments in Trigun, but the new series is just "EVERY SCENE IS SAD!! VASH IS PATHETIC! WOLFWOOD IS A BITCH! You see this small child? BAM!! Now they're a pile of bologna AND they're dead!!" Lack of levity and zero fun scenes to balance out the melodrama is super frustrating.

Trigun 98 is the best show, because... A) It's fun before it gets serious B) Vash is actually confident C) Wolfwood is gay D) The "D" is what Wolfwood wants E) The cast are ALL adults and not children hybrids with baby brains F) Vash wants that "wolf's wood"
