📢 Work Package 3 - Professional Skills Open Meeting this afternoon, 3 pm to 4 pm 📢 🔗 Register: events.teams.microsoft.com/event/e1c822... We’ll be discussing what professional skills are most relevant to the HPC community, the gaps we’ve identified, and the next steps for the project.

⭐ We were pleased to have SHAREing represented at the poster session yesterday evening at #SIAMPP26 ⭐ Thomas Flynn presented the poster and had some great conversations about our work, as well as opportunities for collaboration around performance assessment and training in HPC

It kind of strikes me that SIAM CSE has always multiple sessions on training and teaching. #SIAMPP26 has none. Thats a missing piece in the puzzle and where @shareing.bsky.social has to step in. Computational Sciences training is important. So is HPC from a methodological/algorithmic point of view.

Great poster session at #SIAMPP26. @shareing.bsky.social was there and our eCSE project (a collab between @durham-comp-sci.bsky.social and @epcc.bsky.social ) as well as two further posters around Peano and the continuation of our PAX-HPC ExCALIBUR work.

📢 Workshop Announcement: “Correctness & Debugging” Series 📢 Brought to you by UCL (CCMI) and Durham University (HAI-End and SHAREing), this workshop is a great chance to sharpen your debugging skills, improve code quality, and explore practical approaches to software correctness.

👨‍🎓 Work Package 3 Professional Skills Training👩‍🎓 will review the status quo of professional skills training for RTPs in the UK. It will identify shortcomings of existing training, missing ingredients, and best practices in the delivery of training. #SHAREing #HPC #PerformanceAnalysis

💻 Work Package 2: Technical Training💻will outline clear pathways for training, gather existing resources available to UK researchers, identify prerequisites, address training gaps, and publish these as recommendations for upskilling. #SHAREing #HPC #PerformanceAssessment
