Someone called ICE on this sweet family who was running a Kebab restaurant. They have had a case open with with USCIS since 2016. They would feed the homeless, people with disabilities, and people who just couldn’t afford to pay them. There is a GFM to offer support for legal fees and lost income.

Had a guy trying to insult me yesterday by asking if the man in my picture with me is my brother, implying I married my brother. Yes, this 6'8" Irish dude is somehow brother to me, the 5'4" Lebanese lady. To be fair, he's from Tennessee so maybe he's projecting.

I just learned that my father was swept up in an Reagan era immigration raid when he worked at a Mexican restaurant. My mom had to bring his green card to get him released. Came up because I was asking him to send me his proof of citizenship in case he gets detained since he’s out of state & alone.
