CNN reporting that the strikes on Iran tonight are joint US and Israeli strikes. Which means Donald Trump should be impeached for a third time. What he has done tonight is illegal under the US constitution and the UN charter.

The morally bankrupt Trump administration has partnered with another morally bankrupt authoritarian to declare an unprovoked war on Iran, already killing scores of civilians. We need an immediate vote from Congress on a War Powers Resolution. Then articles of impeachment.

Trump bombed a girls' school, Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in southern Iran, killing 80 young girls, with dozens more missing. In a blatantly illegal act of war that has zero congressional approval.

I agree Schumer's statement was not good enough. Yes, it does call for a War Powers Act vote. Good. But not until the end! Most is just whining that Congress wasn't apprised and not outrage re: how profoundly illegal it was to act w/o Congress's assent. Makes one worry he doesn't see the problem.

People need to STOP referring to girls in their early teens as "WOMEN." They are CHILDREN. Even 16 and 17 year-olds are "girls" NOT "women." Same holds if you are referring to women over the age of 18 as "girls." Over 18 they are "women." STOP adultifying children and infantilizing women.
