Fantastic episode about the history of middle class NYC co-ops, and the surprising (to me) partnership between Robert Moses and socialist housing builders in urban renewal/âslum clearanceâ. (And Jane Jacobs being wrong about towers canât make community)

The staggering amount of money Ford demands the people of ON spend on his cope because he lost the mayoralty race is infuriating. But if waterfront ruining jets arrive at the Island it will be the sole fault of federal Liberals who will deserve to never win a single seat in TO again.

Markhamâs mayor for the first time has used his strong mayor powers⌠to block city-wide 4plexes that council approved. Presumably this puts in jeopardy the federal housing money the city has already agreed to, as this was a condition of those funds.

Really good mayor's motion to PHC today to help improve the committee of adjustment. I don't think significant changes are needed, current system works really well the vast majority of the time. But tweaks can be made to make it even better.
