also, Secret of the Mimic really shows that Steelwool really just bit off more than they could chew with Security Breach and that they excel at more contained experiences like RUIN and Help Wanted 1&2

I can also see the Alien Isolation inspiration. Steelwool said that about Security Breach too, but this is way closer, and although the AI is better, it's still not Alien Isolation level.
