Many countries act like they’ve got to choose one superpower or another to ally with. The fact is, all of the superpowers are inherently full of shit and cannot be trusted. The world should reject all of them, isolate them, and work towards getting rid of them.

Come now, did this ever really exist? It was an illusion created by wishful thinkers and think tank intellectuals. It is a fools-based international order. Only fools believed it worked. Superpowers always had an escape clause in this absurd farce of global governance. An epic practical joke.

1) This will be the future very soon for a nation that wants to control a shipping route or deny one. They would do this for a number of reasons. To exact tribute or use fees. To retaliate against a nation bothering them or trying to intimidate them. To defend against amphibious invasion. And⬇️

1) Maybe some countries are saying to themselves: “You know what? This whole rules-based international order thing is total bullshit. Why should we believe in incentives not to build nuclear weapons, or that global free trade really benefits us now? Haven’t we gotten screwed by the US?” And⬇️

Maybe other countries see what Iran has done with the Straits of Hormuz. And if they can control a waterway, perhaps they say to themselves: “Hey why don’t we make plans to weaponize our own strait just in case? We could make a couple bucks, or punish the West if they aggravate us.”

Here’s another charming consequence of climate change. Yes, they are extremely aggressive, to say the very least. And they exist in a state of perpetual hostility. Very minor things piss them off. You know. Like walking around where they can see you.

Nature is, evidently, not in a good mood. Quick! Look busy!

I’d say countries that were thinking about building nuclear weapons after the Russian invasion are now actively pursuing it after seeing Trump’s foolishness. Add the US to the list of potential hostile adversaries, too.

Here’s another country that could become a nuclear power relatively quickly if the US becomes totally unreliable. They border Russia. Russia attacked them in the past. Obviously, they have a valid reason to build nuclear weapons, probably in strict secrecy until they’re completed.

This could either be strategic ambiguity or they’re actually in the process of doing this. They have a valid reason to build them, what with the fickle, unreliable nature of the US now. Why wouldn’t they at least begin the process of acquiring fissile material?

What do you think they’re doing right now? Maybe they said to themselves, “Can we really rely on the US to protect us? If India, Pakistan, and Israel all got away with building nuclear weapons, why can’t we? Let’s at least get the ball rolling just in case the US gets even more unreliable.”

Imagine what they said to themselves: “It’s almost too good to be true—but it is true! The US is going to inadvertently give us what we need to build nuclear weapons! And all we have to do is tell them what they want to hear, play the game awhile, and make promises we have no intention of keeping!”
