This afternoon, our Spark! young artists were exploring notan, the balance between light and dark in composition. This is some of their brilliant work, with the added bonus of meeting the neighbour cat.

This week, we've been working with the brilliant BEEE Creative as part of their latest project, Outside The Exhibit. Along with creative practitioners, community members, Museum of Watford, Stevenage Museum & North Herts Museum, we explored co-production, storytelling, sustainability & evaluation.

Our latest exhibition from the Royston Printmakers showcases the amazing artwork they create using the Museum's very own Columbian printing press. But how do they create their prints? 1️⃣ They start off by sketching out their design, either onto paper or directly onto the printing block. 1/3
