Story here of one of my nicest experiences at the Edinburgh Fringe, at the end of an incredibly demoralising month!

Tom and I met at one of my first character gigs when we shared the bill, at that point he was part of sketch group Staple/Face. Since then, I have followed his career from sketch group to double-act with Sam Nicoresti to solo character work as Peter Fleming. He is a funny, funny man!

I'm very sad about Robert Redford. A cinematic legend and an absolutely remarkable champion of independent filmmaking. Without him there would be no Sundance Festival. We've lost one of the greats. R.I.P. 😭

I met Dipak through Michelle Fahrenheim. He was the first director guest and it came after he essentially wrote a fan letter to me about the Steve Dawson episode of Out Of Character. His comedy observations were so astute and interesting I just had to invite him on the show. Listen now!

GOOD NIGHT, OSCAR is outstanding! Incredibly funny, moving and powerful. There are so many acerbic one-liners packed into it. Sean Hayes is just astonishing - it's no wonder he won the Tony for his performance. One of the best plays I've seen in years!

I have worked with Will on a handful of different projects and he is always brilliant. Everything he delivers is hilarious, from his solid gold expressions as a performer to his incredible wit as a writer. I loved his work with Clever Peter and I loved his one-man shows just as much! Do listen!

Last week I watched two documentary films. SHARK WHISPERER - Ocean Ramsay has good intentions but I think she's going about it in the wrong way. (Netflix) BRATS - Interesting look at the whole Brat Pack movement but you get the sense Andrew McCarthy is the only one who hasn't moved on. (Disney+)

Will and I met when we were thrown together in a show called Comedy Swingers. Sketch and character comics thrown together at random. The result - 20 different sketch groups. Sadly cut short cos it was early 2020 but Will and I stayed good friends. He is one funny bastard - and a prolific one too!

The first trilogy of films that kicked off the August Isolation Cinema - funny, absurd and a whole lot of fun!

Briony is a wonderful human. She's a real ray of sunshine and positivity as well as being an extremely funny and talented goofball. She taught me improv and has also been generous enough to lend her voice (and sometimes face) to a number of my projects in the past. It's always fun working with her!

We've been a bit quiet at the House Of Fear of late but now things are starting to ramp up again...

Elemental is a dear old chum and also my hip hop mentor. We met at the rap workshop when I was 17. 17 years later, we're still collaborating together. This was one of the rare occasions where he wasn't being interviewed in character and any lovers of comedy and hip hop will truly revel in this one.

I worked with Kat a great deal between 2014-2017. She was in my R4 series 'Expenses Only' and also 'The Adventures of Professor Elemental' which I co-wrote. She's incredibly talented and an hilarious character comic and clown. She's always popping up in things so keep a watchful eye on her Insta!

Shocked to hear about Ozzy Osbourne! He'd only just finished his farewell concert. A question about him came up in quiz the night before and we were all like he's bound to outlive us all. RIP doesn't seem very fitting for the Prince of Darkness. Hopefully he's still raising hell somewhere.
