A year ago today this little lady, Mollie passed away. Mollie-Pops was a sweet, gentle soul who I met when volunteering at a cat rescue. I fell for her the minute I saw her - there was something magical about her. Happily, I brought Mollie and her brother home. It was the best thing I ever did.

When I was a kid I used to read obsessively and finish a book in a day. Then life somehow got in the way. I have wanted to read more than I do for a long time, so I have just joined the local library and can now borrow digital books....who knew? Bring. It. On. 📖📚🤓😃

Last year I spent 3 days in a waiting room for jury service. Due to cock-ups none of us actually sat in court. Whilst waiting I read Kafka-The Trial. Happily, the irony was not lost on some of my fellow jurors. The book is probably more relevant now following g'ment intention to reduce jury trials.
