She/her Dyslexic fanfiction novelist (Writer, actor, pole dancer, brewing witch)
Google just turned my phone into a slop factory. Thanks but no thanks for the new features. Any recs for a refurbished phone with the least amount of AI possible? (Preferably none?)

Been training myself to spot AI in videos. Now I can't even watch cute animals do unexpected things without scrutinizing the background for signs. We truly can't have anything nice on this Internet.

really enjoyed The Dream that came up in my hyperfixed feed. Great narrative journalism well done! I wanted to say one (1) thing about your use of a content warning at the start of the EP though.

Oh, QANTAS paid me back. I enjoyed writing my story but I no longer have the righteous anger to fuel me. Needless to say I had enough material to keep me going for a month or so, they really dicked me around.

Qantas owes me $310nzd Part 9: With cautious optimism I set out on my quest, and dialed the Qantas help line. I did not expect to encounter my first challenge so soon, but sure enough the voice on the line said, "if your flight is not within 24hrs, please hang up."

Qantas owes me $310nzd Part 8: "I must call on them at once, and surely they will come to my aide! After all, we are dear friends! Every time I fly Qantas they tell me it was a 'pleasure' to have me on board. Those were surely not empty words!" Thought I.

Qantas owes me $310nzd Part 7: If you're very clever you will have already guessed what happened next: I awoke the next morning to find just over $400nzd missing! At first I thought I suspected foul play, but then I checked my emails. A second flight confirmation.

Qantas owes me $310nzd Part Ah yes. I tried again a little later with another payment method and the transaction went through. That night I drifted peacefully off to sleep knowing that my flight was safely booked... Or so I thought.

l Qantas owes me $310nzd: Part 4 Now, all these business days later as I sit here telling you this tale, I do not recall if it was PayPal or Visa I tried first. What I do recall is my first attempt at buying the flights failed. There was an "error", you see.

Qantas owes me $310nzd: Part 3 '"Non-refundable"? Well the matter is settled then. Surely Qantas does not owe you $310nsd.' I hear you say, dear reader. And in most cases you would be correct, but read on, and I will tell you a take most confounding.

Qantas owes me $310nzd: Part 2 This day was my final chance to take advantage of a double status credits deal. I was eager not to miss out! I double checked my dates and made sure I'd be home in time for a wedding, and then confidently booked a non-refundable flight.

QANTAS owes me $310nzd: Part one: It was a beautiful clear evening on the 18th of March, 73 business days ago. I remember it well because I chose to sit outside. This day will forever be seared into my memory as day 1 of QANTAS owing me $310nzd.

ABC News daily's podcast about the brutal job market touched on the fact that a single vacant role can be flooded with applicants overwhelming the HR team. It did not mention that Centrelink requires people to do a certain number of job applications per week.

My kitten Special Agent Scully is so curious and confident! I was in the bath and she jumped up on the rim of the bath to say hi and then fell in the bath and was completely unbothered by falling in the bath. And kept jumping up on the rim of the bath. I truly strive to be more like her.

I'm realizing I'm a commitment-phobe but for jobs. I've been hurt by so many jobs in the past that my immediate reaction to an (on paper) amazing job offer is anxiety and doubt. I'm sure I can't be the only one?
