Had some decent store credit from a recent trade in of cartoon glasses. Saw this on my LCS wall and decided it’d be a fun one to have and one I could only afford with credit. Never owned this one before.

The Scarlet Speedster and The Man of Steel venture to “furthest reaches of measurable time” with a surprise appearance from a future dasher that will have you seeking the ends of the earth for issue two. (This issue has been approved by the Comics Code Authority and @vinsonlovescomics.bsky.social .)

Truth be told, I first thought this was a lobby card from a Hammer Horror film.😂

A close friend and I exchange a package of comics each Christmas. He sent me a hefty stack this year which included these DC $1.00 books. I just love these. Each packed with an assortment of first and second tier heroes delivering a good ol’ DC punch.👊

Supes 144 (1961) Swan cover and one interior with Plastino hitting the other two. A fun “bubblegum” read on an unseasonably warm Colorado morning. ⚠️This comic contains green kryptonite and red dust kryptonite.🟩🟥

Nothing new in my LCS box today, so did a bin dive and plucked out this 1971 WF out. Of course the Neal Adams’ cover was the highlight, but the first appearance(?) of Dolphin-Man and Clark Kent sporting a groovy scarf are not to be overlooked.

Adventure Comics 344 (1966) Curt Swan on the cover and interiors for this LOS story. Highlight of the issue had to be Matter-Eater Lad chewing his way out of the prison camp. Love this kind of stuff! Also included a GA Superboy reprint story from ‘49 where he taught a spoiled youth a lesson.
