Today begins the process of removing interpretive assets across National Park Service sites that violate the president's EO. If you work for the NPS, please let me know what, if any, changes are taking place at your site. No names will be used. Thank you.

every SI exhibit is vetted at the highest possible levels and at every stage of development: peer review by top scholars, extensive visitor, studies panels with every type of stakeholder. I'd like to see reporters covering the curatorial process and the actual experts at these museums

Hi all. I would appreciate it if you reposted
@ncph.bsky.social
's below message. Given our inability to circulate this study through normal channels, we want to make sure those that would find these on-access chapters useful learn about them.

I sincerely don’t know why people aren’t physically stopping those dorks. Move shit. Lock doors. Lose the keys. Everyone switch seats. Turn off all the lights. Switch the signs on the elevator lobby. Make the settings all silly. Use a different language. Wear costumes. Fill rooms with balloons

NCPH is hosting a postcard and letter-writing campaign on Zoom tomorrow (Friday, Feb 7) from 2-3 pm ET. I'll be there, figuring out how best to be a thorn in the side of my congressional reps until they are SICK of me. Y'all can join the Zoom via this link:
