C'mon Mom! I heard rustling in the underbrush and saw a possum cross the road. Just try and move me along...I don't think so! Tonight's critter vigil was a little longer than yesterday's. I came prepared with treats this time, but they weren't much help.

Had a sit down strike on Gigi's walk last night. She was determined to watch the bush a cat went under. 53lbs of insistent dog is a challenge to get walking again. She's sitting here, but after some attempts to move her along, she laid flat. I let her be for about 10min then she was willing to go.

Gigi wants to know if the dead grass blends too much with her brindle coat. She's worried there isn't enough contrast for the crown of blades on her head to really pop. So. Much. Dead. Grass.

My shame is that when digging through the freezer I found one with a 2024 date-still ate it-still delicious. The top layer had slightly suffered from age in texture, but not in taste.

Introducing Gigi! We've been dogless since sadly losing Jasper to an emergency medical situation nearly a year ago. She is an open-ended dogsitting guest. Long messy story but we may have her two weeks or two months. She is very sweet & we are getting to know her. Our first time having a pitty mix.

This was not stocked in the same area as the rest of the holiday/seasonal/X-mas beers and I think that some marketing person needs to be disciplined for that decision. I did not buy this, though I would definitely drink it. I just saw it and think it's probably the best beer to buy in December.

Do I gladly pay 3x the price that a can of store brand sweetened condensed milk costs so that I have the convenience of easy drizzling? Hell yes! I love this packaging and used it for the first time last year and kicked myself for not trying it sooner.
