I love my #dnd playgroup. Months ago I gave them a ring of ingested water walking as a discount ring of water walking. So it's a normal roww but the person has to drink it first. Finally one of them used it after we all forgot out it. One used it to bypass a grease trap. It wasn't the edible kind.

I've never been able to get my head around how to make travel fun in #dnd. Any suggestions?

Help! I gave my #dnd party an infant cockatrice and they have adopted it as a pet! I don't know what they will do with it but it's already been brought up as an effective interrogation tactic.

Well #ttrpg was going great. Party slew a big boss in an epic way. The hiest was successful. Cheers all around. Then there was an actual bat flying around behind me which really threw me off my game. The bat was fine. We corralled it back outside.

I want to assemble a pokemon team that looks like it takes turns with a braincell. So far I've added totodile and fuecoco but I don't know who else to add. Maybe bulbasaur...always gave me that vibe.

More #TTRPG systems need to have a luck stat/bonus. A temporary resource that a person can spend to increase their odds. I understand rolling something you aren't good at means you shouldn't be able to just succeed on it. But it would be great to just bump the odds just once a session for drama.

I feel like I achieved something in TTRPG history. Made an offhand joke about a chef tossing a good salad and the salad now has more lore associated with it than my own character. And I did nothing beyond the initial joke.

There is nothing better than listening to your players make a plan to steal something and then reveal a mishap in it. It was the perfect plan except there is something you didn't know!

I feel like there is an urge for all DMs to add a goofy half broken construct that tags along with the party and says little things in broken sentences. I must resist.

Event we attended was a fairly high class party so I didn't have an opportunity to use these. HOWEVER as a chef I was able to compliment another chef on his ability to toss salad so I feel like it was a moral victory.
