Apart from sharing bits of research I'll mostly be inactive here. With the lack of any interest anywhere for a Leverhulme application or any university role in general for Romani history its probably time to explore different things.

One of the worst things about the academic job market is the creepy & frankly racist obession with posh white academics hiring other posh,white academics to whitesplain racial and colonial histories over minority academics. Its not progressive, its not post colonial - its just colonial.
