Civ 6 is really several games. The victory track you choose has a lot of bearing on what the experience is like. I enjoy the culture game. Chilling and building and occasionally crushing your rivals with a smile to remain the fairest of them all💝🎉😅

Civ 6 is an amazing game. I set out for a nice peaceful game with Cleopatra, and ended up recruiting the legendary Amazon Hippolyta. The Amazon queen has no match on the battlefield 🎉 And that Roman music in the background of this clip 💗 It's just perfect for going on the march with a baddie 😅

In a very basic sense, my final party in Cold Steel 2 was a Musou warrior and two heavy artillery magic users. And then Fie, whose main job was to keep the cannons loaded. Here’s Fie crossing most of the combat grid to restore Emma’s spell points. That’s our speed demon 💪💝

I love the callbacks in Trails. When Fie says “you’re finished” I can only think of Joshua 💝

Just beat the final boss in Cold Steel 2 for a 2nd time, so my kids could have that peak gaming memory 💝 What a fight. And one small spoiler: the Trails series is kind of notorious for final bosses that require a certain setup. That wasn’t the case here, but it was challenging with my A-team 💪

Trails of Cold Steel 2 is one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played. I’ve compared it to Final Fantasy 6 a lot; they’re similar in a lot of ways. But the most importantly it was a sense of joy and wonder. A story that sweeps you off your feet and may have you shedding a few tears as well. Great game. 🎉💝

It’s funny how the end of Trails of Cold Steel 2 goes all Trails in the Sky 3…but it feels appropriate. They were both epilogues that wrapped up one piece of the story and set up the next 🎉

Look no further if seeking a sign that the league is already getting diminishing returns due to expansion.

Probably my biggest literary influence growing up; kind of the perfect author for a completionist like myself. I hope that someday the Silmarillion gets the perfect adaptation it deserves and becomes as well known as Lord of the Rings.

Trails of Cold Steel 2 was already one of my all-time favorite RPGs when I thought I’d beat it 10 hours ago 🎉💝 I’ve had many RPGs that I enjoyed, but they hit a wall at about 80 hours, and everything after that felt a bit dragged out. This game tho…I could could keep going with this one forever 🎉

Trails of Cold Steel 2 has been so good. I’m going to savor this epilogue, knowing Cold Steel 3 is on the shelf and ready to go when the time comes 🎉

When I compare Trails to the Persona series, it’s mostly about the depth of the characters. I didn’t particularly like Jusis at first; about half of Class 7 was not particularly friendly at first, but you come to understand them better over the course of the story and Trails is the best at that 🎉💝

Finishing Trails of Cold 2, and it’s one of my all-time favorite RPGs 🥹 The story ended up being pretty good, but this one is mostly about getting the band back together and romping with old friends. Great game 🎉 That’s one of the many ways this game often reminded me of Final Fantasy 6 💝

Reading the Jimenez run of Wonder Woman, and the story where the children of Aries possess Batman’s enemies is pretty good.

The Persona 25th anniversary was highlighted by Atlus finally making Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable available on all modern consoles. I’m daring to hope Atlus aims higher for the 30th; either by remaking Oldsona or announcing Persona 6 🎉💝🤪

Persona fans tired of waiting for Atlus to do something with Persona, the Trails series is right there 😅

My only complaint about the length of the Trails series is this: After seeing Lloyd again, I really want to replay Crossbell and find all the stuff I missed. But I also want to see what happens next in the story 😬

Fie was constantly in my party for Trails of Cold Steel 2, because she gives you a ton of flexibility. As a speed demon, she gives you actions when you need them; usually shutting down enemy spells or replenishing spell points for the team’s heavy artillery. Also, she evades most attacks ⚡️💪🎉
