I don’t know what that was about, but I agree with this. While we can be sad for his family and condone the violence, he essentially praised mass shootings and shouldn’t be celebrated like he was this saint.

I know my horoscope said to avoid humblebrags today, so I’ll just do a full-on brag: participated in a bike jam in Providence last night and then did about 20 miles on a bike path & tot he beach today — after not having ridden for awhile. Sore AF but feeling accomplished.

I might be do pretty well — I’ve been on plenty of long and difficult hikes — but I probably wouldn’t make it to the end.

Forgot to post my thoughts on #TheLongWalk, which I thought was fantastic: Really blown away by this one. The best Stephen King adaptation I’ve seen in quite some time. Incredibly bleak and hard to watch at times, and yet I couldn’t look away. Francis Lawrence has directed the hell out of this,

In other news, it still feels like summer — even in Maine. 70s and sunny, which is my kind of weather. Hard to work inside for too long when it’s so nice out.

Charlie Kirk did not practice politics the right way. He made a career of engaging in the worst degree of bad faith and putting the lives of vulnerable people at greater risk with his shameless propaganda. His murder is entirely reprehensible, but that doesn't condone his unbridled hatred.

The only thing I’ll say about Charlie Kirk (who I previously knew nothing about) is that his pro-violence thoughts didn’t do him anything favors. Nor did his anti-gay views, racism, and fascist ideology. Even though I don’t condone murder, he was clearly not a good person. Still, America’s fucked
