I shared new work from my postdoc @audreyduarte.bsky.social We find that depressive symptoms are linked to greater neural evidence of proactive interference at encoding which predicts subsequent errors at retrieval. This effect seems to be exacerbated by age.

Thrilled to share this work now published in Cerebral Cortex! doi.org/10.1093/cerc... We apply Greedy State Boundary Search in EEG to identify neural state boundaries and show that the degree of shift, but not their temporal synchrony, predicts memory performance in both older and younger adults.

The amount of information and extra months rent you need to give to potential landlords these days just has to be contributing to the housing crisis. We've given them everything short of the blood of our first born son and they are unsure if we can pay rent that is a 1/3 of our income.
