Started watching the Hunter x Hunter remake. I've discovered that I have an irrational hatred of action anime with child main characters. "Hunters are elite warriors who protect the whole world! How about we let this 12 year old join?" Special Forces Doogie Howser is just silly. #anime

I've tried two Monster Hunter games and didn't care for them. I'm just not a fan of MMOs. They're all too much like the "Some of the M&Ms in this bowl are poisoned" thought exercise. What I've seen from this one has me tempted to try again. Folks who've tried it, how viable is playing mostly solo?

Nosferatu is the best vampire movie I've ever seen. It's a masterpiece of tension. The sound design, cinematography, and editing are all used in jarring, uncomfortable ways that really drive home how unnatural and terrifying Count Orlok is. Bill Skarsgard deserves an Oscar for this.
