One of my current kitchen garden projects is building an asparagus bed. Started with a 12x6 patch, sowed green manure, then cut it back and added cow manure and seaweed. After drying, I tilled it in and mulched with more seaweed. The soil’s coming along beautifully - rich, dark and full of life. 🎋
